Veronica LeClair

Veronica (Bunny) Dolores LeClair (Sprague) passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at home, at the age of 62. She was born on October 31, 1958 to Frank and Veronica (Rondeau) Sprague in Keene Valley. She had 2 brothers, Leo Joseph, and Frank Henry Sprague.

She graduated from Au Sable Valley Central School in 1976. She married Gregory LeClair on August 13, 1977; and they had two children, Jason Dean LeClair and Shawn David LeClair. She also had six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Upper Jay Fire Department Auxiliary and joined the Au Sable Forks Ambulance Squad and became an EMT. She was employed by North Country School as a Bookkeeper.

She loved her family more than anything, as well as her cats; and she enjoyed outdoor activities, four-wheeling, snow-mobiling, camping and being with friends.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery, Wilmington.

Services were entrusted to Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks.
