Nadine Camire

Nadine Marie Camire, 56, of Wilmington, NY, passed away on September 1, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

Nadine was born March 10, 1964 to Mary (Hathaway) and Alvin Mason. Nadine was known for her fun loving attitude, cheerful smile, and willingness to help.

Nadine married her best friend, Bryan, on August 2, 1997. They raised their son Christopher together and built a home in her hometown of Wilmington.

Nadine was a daycare provider for many years and loved children. Over the years, Nadine kept track of her children and life adventures, and always greeted them with a hug, kiss, an "I love you", and advice if they were a little out of line. Anyone who came into contact with Nadine remembered her with her warm welcome and kindness that she offered.

After daycare, Nadine worked many years in the hospitality field as a waitress at several local establishments, and at the conference center in Lake Placid, where she touched everyone's heart she came in contact with.

If Nadine was your friend then you knew you were blessed. Nadine was the kind of friend who was always there for you during the good and the bad times. Nadine enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going for rides, adventures, outings for coffee, concerts, cruises, and long chats over iced coffee.

Nadine is survived by her husband, Bryan; son Christopher; sister Diane (Fabian) Gonyea; Randy (Bev) Smith; Daniel (Deb) Smith; Sideny (Valerie) Smith; Mark Hathaway; Alvin (Rebecca) Mason; Duane Mason; Kelvin (Mouser) Mason; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Haselton Cemetery, Wilmington.
