Kimberly Hoover

Kimberly Rose Hoover, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on August 7, 1964, in Saranac Lake, NY to Robert and Judith (Alford) Bowen, Kim settled in Au Sable Forks, NY, where she built a life rich in love and connection.

Kim was a devoted home health aide, touching the lives of many with her compassion and kindness. Her ability to care for others was truly a testament to her character-a reflection of the love she held for her family, friends, and community.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Hoover, her cherished daughter, Kayla Hoover, and her son, Robert Bowen. Kim's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jordon Hoover, Connor Hoover, Robert Bowen, Jr., and Katryna Fournier. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Bowen and Kelly Lewin.

Kim was known for her warm spirit and infectious laughter. She loved the simple pleasures in life, whether it was playing bingo, searching for treasures at yard sales, or indulging in her passion for shopping-always taking the time to look at everything. In her younger years, Kim found joy in camping and boating, experiences that she cherished and often shared with her family.

Her culinary talents were a source of joy for many, especially her famous chocolate chip pumpkin bread, which has become a beloved family favorite. After the loss of her mother, Kim embraced the role of host during the holidays, creating a welcoming space where family gathered, and memories were made. Everyone looked forward to the warmth and love of holidays spent at Aunt Kimmy's house.

A Graveside Service will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery in Wilmington on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
