It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kathleen "Katie" Rosalind Baeder, a beloved daughter, niece, and friend at the tender age of 37.
Katie was born on July 19, 1986, in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, to her devoted parents, Laurie and William Baeder. With her warm smile and kind heart, Katie touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her passing has left a void in our hearts that will never be filled.
Katie embarked on a journey of knowledge, earning an Associate's Degree through her determined pursuit of education. With her natural empathy and desire to make a difference, she dedicated her career to serving others.
Outside of her professional life, Katie found joy and solace in spending quality time with her loved ones. Whether it was creating lasting memories with her friends, or simply sharing laughter, Katie had a special talent for bringing people together. Her radiant spirit and infectious laughter will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Katie's memory will live on through the love of her surviving relatives, including her parents, her uncle Brian Gerard who had a special bond, and numerous other family and friends. The void left by her departure will be felt by her extended family, friends, and colleagues, all of whom were touched by her kindness and genuine care.
To honor and celebrate Katie's remarkable life, Calling Hours will be held at Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College St., Au Sable Forks, on February 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm, offering an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and support one another during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will follow at the same location at 2:30 pm, where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories, celebrating Katie's life and the impact she had on each of us.
Though we mourn the loss of Katie, we find solace in the memories she left behind. Let us remember her as a radiant light that brightened our lives and inspired us to be more compassionate and loving. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing.
Donations may be made in Katie's memory to Adirondack Mobile Vet Services, 791 State Route 374, Cadyville, NY 12912.
Rest in peace, dear Katie, knowing that your impact on this world will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you. You will be forever loved and deeply missed.
