John "Jack" Liberty, a beloved member of the Clintonville community, passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 61. Born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 11, 1963 to John and Euna Liberty, Jack was known for his warm heart, unwavering work ethic, and love for his family. He was the cherished spouse of Cynthia; and step-father to Tiffany (Bruce), Jennifer (Richard), Gary (Malynda), and Amanda (Roger).

In his earlier years, Jack proudly worked at his father's garage, where his strong work ethic was formed. He later found his calling in the mining industry, where he worked tirelessly for Cold Spring for many years. He was also an extremely skilled contractor who built several homes in the area. Jack's dedication to his craft was evident to all who knew him.

Growing up in the scenic landscapes of the Adirondacks, Jack found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camping enthusiast. His love for adventure and nature led him to spend countless hours on trails in his side by side, and he was a familiar sight at motocross races, fueling his passion for dirt bikes.

Jack's jovial spirit also shone through in his leisurely pursuits. Whether playing cornhole with friends or immersing himself in family gatherings, he brought light and laughter to those around him.

Family was at the core of Jack's being, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia; step-children, Tiffany Thomas, Jennifer Desso, Gary Miller II, and Amanda Miller; his siblings Lynne (Steve) Sapp, Lori (Steve) Furnia, and Lisa (Lenny) Graves; grandchildren Kayla, Dustin, Kyle, Alexandra, Alyssa, Keagen, Emily, and Iliza; as well as several great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Euna.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In his passing, Jack leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty of the trails he so dearly adored.

Services were entrusted to Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks.
