Homer "Slug" Snow, 89 ,of Dry Bridge Road in Au Sable Forks passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at home.
A native of Black Brook, he was the son of Benjamin and Rhoda Snow.
Slug, as he was known to many, worked at Lagoy Sawmill, Ward Lumber, Haselton Lumber, and Plattsburgh State. He enjoyed many years of camping, hunting, fishing, beer, time at Fern Lake and Taylor Pond, but most of all enjoyed being with his family, and he had a big sense of humor.
Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his wife Joan and his brother Bucky.
Survivors include children Samuel Snow, Ron Seguin, Tim (Dee) Seguin, Pam Thurber; grandchildren Danielle (Chris) Turnbull, Josh Thurber, Derek Thurber; great-grandsons Rylee and Liam Turnbull; sisters-in-law Peggy Snow and Nancy Bombard; niece and nephew Shari (David) McDonald and Matt Snow; numerous other nieces and nephews; and Kevin and Nancy Williams, whom he lived with the past few months.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Zaumetzer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Name, 10 Church Lane, Au Sable Forks, NY, with interment to follow in the spring at Holy Name Cemetery.
