Forest Winch

Forest R. Winch, Jr. (Little Guy) passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 91.

He worked as a union carpenter for many years and then for the New York State Conservation Department as a carpenter for many more years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and keeping his lawn well groomed; as well as, working on his wood pile.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirleen (Bashaw) Winch, his parents Forest R. Winch, Sr. and Alvira Winch, his siblings Bob Winch, Ira Winch, Jim Winch, Mary Taylor, and Gladys Whitney.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Doris Larue, his two sons Jeff and Randy Winch, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.

Donations may be made in Forest's name to the Wilmington Volunteer Fire Department, 1197 Haselton Road, Wilmington, NY 12997.

Services were entrusted to Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks.
