Deborah Kay Lisacchi, 70, of Jay, NY, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, August 24, 2020 with her loving family at her side.
Deb was born in Palmerton, PA, the daughter of Wayne Sr. and Esther Althouse. She worked most of her life as a medical transcriptionist, 25 years of that with Montclair Radiology in Montclair, NJ.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her younger brother Wayne.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Leonard; and one son, Leonard and his wife Kristen; and two beautiful grandkids, Nate and Analeigh; her brother, David; and, her Aunt Sharon.
Deb will be remembered for her love of fly fishing for trout in the streams of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and 25 years fishing the Madison River in Montana.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank everyone at High Peaks Hospice who assisted in her care; as well as the staff at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center and the staff at Adirondack Health in Peru, with a special thanks to Nurse Practitioner Bridget Molloy.
Graveside Services will be held in the Spring, with interment at Haselton Cemetery, Wilmington, NY.
Services were entrusted to Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks, NY.
