David Trombley, 56, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 12, 2021.
Born in Keene Valley, he was the son of Raymond and Dorothy Trombley.
David had a love for building and spent most of his life in construction field. When he was not working, he loved to spend time with his family and be outside hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved to play pool, get together with friends around a campfire, cookout, listen to music, or just having a good time. Although he was quiet, David had an infectious smile and he could dance anywhere.
David graduated from Au Sable Valley Central School in 1983. He played in the Jazz-Rock band and qualified for All-State his senior year playing the tuba.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Trombley.
Survivors include his son Michael Trombley and daughter Ashley (Rich) Field; grandchildren Richie and Connor; his mother Dorothy; siblings Ray, Glenn (Maryanne), Marvin, Faith (Rick) Boyd, Tina Benway (Pete Martin), and Harold; his partner Laura Girardin and children Andrew, Michael, and Ashley; many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Zaumetzer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Name in Au Sable Forks with burial to follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Black Brook in the Spring.
